Slow Light - Meadow
Whilst Meadow was conceived during a session in 2019 which resulted in the group’s first record ‘Tilt’, the project is an evolution of more than a decade’s worth of DIY musical and creative collaborations between Flynn & Morgan.
The partnership of Flynn (as an artist and designer) and Morgan (as a musician and curious producer) presents itself as a sanctuary for these two childhood pals to foster and nurture their friendship, with the freedom to explore new creative territories together.
With their second full-length album, ‘Slow Light’, Flynn and Morgan embraced patience, care and exploration in its making. Allowing deeper traces of influence to bleed in, the canvas of ‘Slow Light’ holds splashes of synthesizer soul and space pop, coloured by a bed of swelling electronics and samples.
In anticipation of ‘Slow Light’, Meadow released ‘Never Settle’ on 16 February 2023, followed by ‘Problem Child’ on 23 March on Bandcamp and all streaming services.
Their second album ‘Slow Light’ was released on 21 April 2023 via Cottesloe Studio.
